Last week I was in Houston TX.
I went to the Galleria. It was the ultimate shopping experience.
They had every major label imaginable, for someone wanting to spend a small fortune to shop at the many high priced stores. You would need a loan from the bank.
What I noticed there weren't very many people in Gucci or Dior.
I was asked the question how do they stay in business?? My answer was one person comes in and spends a couple of thousand on a dress or a purse. They probably pay minimum wage to the 22 year old who is proud to say I work at XXX. She can't afford the merchandise in the store, but she makes every effort to spend her check(s) on a bag or dress in the store. Is he or she wrong?
If you watch TV or read Essence, W or Vogue magazines they tell you that's what the rich and famous wear.
Is going broke for the lastest fashion really what's best for you?
At one point in my life I would have lost my mind going to a Galleria.
What I found is clothes go out of style, you gain weight and can't wear them or someone does the laundry just to accidently spills bleach on it. You break the heel.
My point is you have to decide what's important to you.
The latest fashion or money in the bank.
