I have heard a few people talking about the Superbowl party that they were going to throw.

One man told me since he hadn't received his income tax refund he was going to have to scale down his party for lack of money.

It got me to thinking about how much money people waste on throwing a party.

I've thrown a few parties in my day and it can become very expensive. 

You don't want to run out of food or beverages.

Not to be a party poo per.

But the money I wasted on throwing parties I could have invested in my retirement.

Gone on a nice vacation.

Paid off a credit card.

Those things never crossed my mind.

I enjoyed playing hostess.

Afterwards you have to clean up. 

You probably have to be up early for work.

The food you put up is gone.  Someone stole it out your fridge.

I stayed home.

I had Seafood Sunday.

Kept plenty of money in my pocket.
