Practice Makes Perfect
We all have things in our lives that we can improve on.
So the old adage that practice makes perfect is a great way to look
at handling our financial affairs.
Practice makes perfect when trying to change how we handle our
finances.
Before any athlete becomes a professional they have to put in
hours, days, and even years perfecting their craft.
The same is true of our finances.
Practice makes perfect when deciding to start a budget .
Each week practice makes perfect with you being able to adapt to
living on a budget.
With each paycheck or retirement check it should get easier to live with in your budget.
Practice makes perfect with paying your bills on time.
Most of our regular monthly bills that include rent/mortgage, utilities, cell phone, insurance have the same due date
each month.
We need to make a list of all our bills and due dates.
Place them on a calendar.
Pay them according to the paycheck that comes closest to the due date.
Many of these companies will help you change the payment due date if it will help you make your payments on time.
Practice makes perfect with paying down or off your debt.
This starts by not adding to that debt.
We have to make sure that we pay our bills on time to avoid late fees.
Write down all of our debt so that we can come up with a plan to concur it.
Don't give up when you fall off with your budget, credit, or debt plans.
Remember practice makes perfect.
Each week it will get easier to live by your plan.
So keep trying to get a handle on your finances.
Are you willing to practice makes perfect with your finances???
