Seasons of Life

Seasons of Life

As we enter into the fall of 2011 if got me to thinking about the Seasons of Life.

I reread the poem by Brian Chalker A Reason, A Season, A Lifetime

"People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime".

I believe this holds true to our life circumstances.

Ecclesiastes chapter 3:1 says: To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

There are many different Seasons of Life that we enter.

As we enter fall it's a harvest Season of Life.  We need to be reaping what we have sewn into our lives.

Right now we may be reaping bad credit, high debt, failed business, loss or poor relationships or financial ciaos.

These are the results of the bad habits that we have sewn into the last Season of Life.

We need to sew good habits into our new Seasons of Life.

This includes our credit, debt, budget, retirement, and finances.

Right now you may be in the or coming out of the Seasons of Life of bad credit.

It's a good time to start working on improving your credit, finances, relationships, and health.

Leaving behind the bad habits of old.

Like paying bills late or not at all.

Maxing out your credit cards.

Avoiding living by a budget.

Not saving money for retirement or "life happens" fund.

Holding grudges for long periods of time.

As these Seasons of Life change we need to sew new seeds:

Paying bills on time in the new seasons of life.

Living by a budget in the new seasons of life.

Becoming debt free in the new seasons of life.

Saving for retirement in the new seasons of life.

Saving in a "life happens" fund in the new seasons of life.

Working on our relationships in the new seasons of life.

Improving our physical health in the new seasons of life.

Loving ourselves in the new seasons of life.

Enjoying life in the new seasons of life.

As the next Seasons of Life comes in we should reap the rewards of our hard work.

How are you handling the new Seasons of Life???

Renee Lawson
