Sacrifice
I was having a conversation with one of my clients.
There are always excuses about the decisions being made with their finances.
No matter the discussion there is always a reason to spend until there is no more!
It got me to thinking about their unwillingness to make a sacrifice to get their finances in order.
In order to achieve our goals a sacrifice must be made.
Debt
Debt reduction requires you to stop adding to the debt.
Coming up with a plan to pay down debt requires a sacrifice.
Paying with cash can help you with this sacrifice.
Credit
Credit can be ruined if it is abused.
The paying your credit on time can take a great sacrifice to deny yourself new things.
When buying a new home we should make the sacrifice and not add try to obtain new credit.
Budgeting
You must make a sacrifice in order to start living by a budget.
Budgeting is not a punishment the sacrifice you make by living by a budget pays off when you have money in the bank.
Health
Gaining a healthy life style requires you to make some sacrifices.
These include changing your diet and giving up the things that you like to make your sacrifice work.
Doing some exercise you may have to make the sacrifice to dedicate the time to fit it in your life.
Retirement
When you are starting out in the workforce you must sacrifice and save for your retirement.
Starting out with the max your employer will match is a great way to get started.
You may not be making much money but this sacrifice will pay off when your are ready for retirement.
Unless you are willing to make the shift in your thinking, any sacrifice you make will be in vain.
Are you willing to sacrifice to achieve your financial goals???
