I've been really tried lately.  I've been taking blood pressure meds for over a two year period.  I never read the side effects.  One of the effects is tiredness.  Now I can take action and go see my doctor. 

The same is true about reading collection letters from your creditor or collection agency.  They may be offering you a settlement before it goes on your credit.  You may never know.   Because you pitched it to the side or shredded the letter.   You may never find out.  Reading is fundamental part of life.  Open up your mail and see what it has to say.  Not all collection letters are bad.  If you can't make the payment by the date.  Call to get an extension.
