I had saved $260.00 from putting money away from making my smoothies.
I decided to use the money. I recently bought a plane ticket to visit my family for the holidays.
Remember that when you take money out of the piggy bank that you don't want to break the bank.
Now that the summer is over and the variety of fresh fruit is slim I have been looking for another source to save money.
One of the ways will be to shovel my own snow. So each time it snows I will put $25.00 in to the piggy bank.
For the summer I will cut my own grass. Each time that I cut my grass I will put $25.00 in to the piggy bank.
When the fall comes in I'm going to gather up my leaves and pay the bank $30 for the work.
Another way is when I do my laundry. I am going to put $2.00 per load for the washer and dryer. It will be like going to the laundry mat.
I hope that you have started your own piggy bank. Come up with ways that are creative and fun to save money.
I haven't decided what I want to save for in 2011. It may be a vacation, gadget, or whatever. Whatever I decided I'm going to keep saving in my piggy bank.
If you have any great ideas post them in the comment section and I will share them on the next piggy bank update.
