The month of April was not good for my piggy bank.

I saved $125.00 in the piggy bank.

But my Betsy broke down twice so I had to take money to fix her.

In all I took out $280 from the piggy bank.

What I'm grateful for is that I had been saving money in my piggy bank.

I could have caused myself a blown budget by not saving any money.

Having a piggy bank may seem juvenile to you.

But its a creative way  and fun way to save money.

This month I'm going to pay myself for spring cleaning, cleaning up the yard, and washing my car.

These will be the new things that I pay myself to put in my piggy bank.

We waste so much money on things that we can do for ourselves.
