Well there are some people who have no credit score at all.There are many myths about what the lowest credit score you can have.  I came across an article that gives examples of just that the lowest credit score.

For example, here is the lowest credit score for a number of popular models:

  • FICO Score: 300
  • VantageScore 1.0 and 2.0: 501
  • VantageScore 3.0: 300
  • PLUS Score: 330
  • TransRisk Score: 100
  • Equifax Credit Score: 280
  • CreditXpert: 350
  • CE Credit Score: 350

Depending on what has happened recently with your credit score you may find yourself at the bottom of this

credit score.

The article talks about there is no place to go but up when you have the lowest credit score.

Once you start working to improve your credit.

It may only take a few months to start to see improvement in your credit score.

There are four things that the article recommends you do when you have the lowest credit score:

1. Get your free credit report when you have the lowest credit score.  Go to www.annualcreditreport.com.

There is no excuse not to know what is on your credit report.

2. Stabilize your situation while you have the lowest credit score.  You must stop the bleeding on your credit

report.

You must stop paying bills late.

Make arrangements for tax liens and judgements.

3. Pay everything on time going forward when you have the lowest credit score.  When you start to rebuild

your this is a must to start the recovery process.

Even after your credit starts to improve you must always strive to pay your bills on time.

4. Get a Secured Credit Card when your credit score is the lowest.

I'm not saying go on a shopping spree.

Use the card to build credit.

Buy gas or groceries things that you normally pay with cash.

Pay the entire balance when the bill comes.

These are simply things that you can start today to rebuild your credit.
