I was reading the Sunday School lesson for Aug. 1. The title was if it ain't one thing it's another.
The woman in the story had a series of things go wrong in a day. Her car broke down, her son was sick (urgent care/prescription), and her lights were turned off. She contemplated spending her tithe money in order to pay any of these necessary expenses. In the end she had money to moved around for her sons medical bill and she paid her tithes. The car and lights had to wait.
Life can come at you very hard at any given moment.
It pays to have a budget in place. A savings account that you don't hit for impulse buying or just blowing money at the bar hanging out with friends. Money in your life happens fund for auto, home, or medical expenses.
My own car went out on Sunday going to church.
My first thought was this lesson.
"If it ain't one thing it's another".
The life happens fund comes in handy when you need the mechanic.
If it ain't one thing its another are you ready??? I discuss how to implement a budget and life happens fund in my new book. To get a copy of my new book and credit course, click over to http://www.sexliesandcredit.com/.
