Over the next few weeks I will be sharing wisdom from my Bigmoma.
She is 89 years old. She grow up during the great depression. She has a wealth of knowledge that I have had the pleasure of hearing all of my life. I am so thankful I have taken the time to listen to this wealth of knowledge.
When we honor our elders we can gain a life time of wisdom.
As many people get older we seem to put them away. Not realizing how valuable they are to us. We have so much we can learn from them.
Now is the time to ask the elders in your life about the life lessons that they have learned and are willing to share with you.
Our elders have a wealth of wisdom that they can share with us to keep us from bumping our heads from mistakes.
Wisdom passed on from generation to generation is priceless.
So is avoiding costly mistakes by asking questions about life from one that has already lived it.
Be sure to write them down. You can add to them and pass it on to the next generation.
You will be glad you took the time to listen.
