Just For Fun, Lifestyle, News, Renee Says

Traveling for the holidays will be different this year.

Wanting to look hot when you get off the plane may not be a good idea.  The new security is for our safety.

The new TSA Full Body Scanner has changed the way we must dress in order to get through security.

Someone told me that after they went through the scanner the person running the scanner peeped around the corner.

What was that all about???

Can they really see your body???

Who gets choosen to look at the people walking through???

I've read about people wanting to boycott the scanner.  Some said that they would come in their birthday suit.  I don't know about anyone else but I don't want to see any of that ever!!!!  No birthday suit is meant for public viewing!!!! That is "snapadoodle".

I was traveling with my mother recently and we almost missed our flight because she was wearing an undergarment that had a wire in it.   To be patted down in public is very embarrassing to say the least.  When the lines are long and people are testy it can be very unnerving.

There are somethings that we need to leave in our luggage before our trip begins.  The rhinestone covered clothing.  The studded or large buckle belts.  The under wire bras and girdles.  The bobby pins and headbands.  Where comfortable shoes that are easy to get on and off while in the line.

The cell phone and ear piece needs to go in your purse or put in your jacket on the conveyor belt.   This also includes the pouch or clip you carry your phone in on your body.

Wearing shaggy pants is not a good idea either.  If you wear a long dress or skirt that is not form fitting you may be patted down.

The best dress is something that does not look like you can hide something under your clothing.

Make sure that you empty your pockets to avoid problems.

I like looking hot when I get off the plane.  However; I'm changing how I dress for the airport.  A nice sweat suit, thick socks, and new sneakers will be my attire for my next plane ride.

I really don't like going through the scanner.  You really don't know what they can actually see.  But when I was a little girl my granny always told me that you need to make sure you always have on clean underwear with no holes in them because you never know what will happen.

Don't forget your socks that floor is cold and nasty. "Snapadoodle"
