Directv has a commerical about having a 140 movie channels. 

As I watched it got me to thinking about going to a seminar last summer. 

The instructor was asking people how many televisions do you have in your home.  One woman said she had a flat screen in every room.  I can't imagine having that many tv's in my home, but it does bring me to think of how many movies can I watch at a time. 

If I do DVR them I would have to watch tv all the time just to watch everthing I recorded.  As those thoughts were running through my head. 

I asked a couple of simple questions. 

How much money is wasted on the cable tv??

Are there really programs that help me with my business? 

What could I do with the savings from turning off all the movie channels that never have anything on them in the first place? 

I turned off my movie channels. 

All of the movies that they are showing I already have the dvd. 

I save more than $40 per month. 

This is a great time to read a book for pleasure or education.
