There was an article in the NY times about General Motors buying a sub-prime lender Americredit. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/23/business/23autos.html?_r=1&partner=rss&emc=rss
The GM story is a reflection of what has happened to our economy. How you can recover if you change the way that you do business.
There are so many people who have credit issues in our country right now. Those numbers are going to keep increasing while the economy is in recovery.
What I like about the GM decision is that they are willing to give people another chance to be able to purchase a new car even if they have had credit issues in the past. That is the same thing that our government did for them by loaning them money to get out of debt, restructure the company dyamics and cut the fat on things that were not working.
If you are having credit issues right now you have to change the way that you do business. The things you did in the past won't help you to recover in the future. There is some fat that you have to cut and habits that you need to break.
Your life style has to change in order to rebuild your credit and overall financial situation.
Are you doing business as usual??
