Getting Back To Me
In October 2011 I wrote about discovering me.
In December 2011 I wrote about being in a funk.
Today I decided to write after a few months of silence about Getting Back To Me.
When you have had the life experiences that I have its easy to lose yourself.
You can end up in a funk.
Your spirit can be broken from heart ache and disappointments
You can lose track of your goals and dreams.
You may get caught up in the problems of others.
You try helping others fix their problems or achieve their goals.
Not realizing that time has just pasted you by.
Life's circumstances can knock you down where you feel like you are leveled to the ground.
In your brokenness you attract people who are broken like you.
There was a reason all the kings men couldn't put humpty dumpty back together again.
Two broken people can't mend each other they stay broken.
Often we go through things and not understand why we have the life experiences we encounter.
It's to help people move foward in their lives.
By sharing the experiences we have had with others we can help them make it through their situation.
Letting people know you are not alone.
Sharing that God loves you even when you don't love yourself.
I've had to literally start over twice in my life.
Starting over from scratch is scary to say the least.
Not wanting to fail again I have stayed content with where I was.
Afraid to try new things.
Afraid to live out my goals and dreams.
Afraid to start a new business.
Afraid of experiencing real love.
I tried a new hair cut.
I tried a new hair color.
I tried new clothes.
None of those things worked.
Something still was not right. I still had this empty feeling.
Life is so short.
It took me awhile to realize something has been missing.
Me!!!
It took courage to start getting back to me.
I'm talking about getting back to me that God created.
Getting back to me was rediscovering my goals and dreams.
Making time to get somewhere and being quite so that I can hear what God wants me to do is a part of getting back to me.
Getting back to me was not simple.
There was no magic trick in getting back to me.
It's taking time getting back to me.
I'm up for the challenge to getting back to me.
I've played full out in other people's plans for themselves.
I've played full out in other people's goals.
Its time to play full out for me.
I've been loyal to the wrong people.
Knowing that I needed to leave, yet I stayed.
Wanting something that they didn't have the power to give me.
Those days are over it's time to have people in my life who value and appreciate me for me.
Getting back to me means spending time in pray and meditating on God's word.
Getting back to me means living out God's purpose for my life.
Getting back to me means taking chances.
Getting back to me means taking time for me.
Getting back to me means enjoying life to the fullest.
Getting back to me means playing full out for me.
Getting back to me means leaving some people behind.
Getting back to me means taking constructive criticism and using it wisely.
Getting back to me means valuing the lessons from my past.
Getting back to me means living out loud.
Getting back to me means finding my dreams.
Getting back to me means living out those dreams.
Getting back to me means releasing my book.
Getting back to me doing the things I write about.
Getting back to me means living by a budget.
Getting back to me means being debt free.
Getting back to me is having great credit score.
Getting back to me means allowing someone to love me for me.
Getting back to me means helping 1 million people reach financial freedom.
Have you decided that getting back to me is worth it for you ???
