Gambling

I have a grandmother who is 88 years old. 

One of her favorite pass times is to go on senior citizen trips to go to a casino once a month.  I recently went with her.  There were so many people their gambling.  Some people were happy and others had sad (disappointed) looks on their faces.

Settling

Being single and 3o+ with no children has become something of the norm…

Many men/women have chosen to put career before marriage and children. 

Several of my friends and I are apart of this group.  We think of ourselves  as rare commodity.  There are so many of us walking around in major cities all over the US.

Friends of the opposite sex

Most people don't believe men and women can just be friends. 

I mean friends without benefits.  

No sex involved.   

It got me to thinking about this whole concept. 

When you are friends with a man/woman and they are married or have a boyfriend/girlfriend they should be able to tell them that you are friends from the beginning of the relationship.  However, if they can't tell their mate that you are friends something is wrong.  Especially if you were friends before they met this person.
