Free Credit Score
With the new year already here many of us have made resolutions to make positive changes in our lives.
You can start by taking a look at your credit report.
"It's never been easier for consumers to get a hold of their credit scores or credit reports for free."
Source MSN Money – Don't know your credit score? You can see it for free
There are several websites that you can go to get your free credit score.
These include Credit Karma, Quizzle, and Credit Sesame.
Every month these websites will provide you with an updated free credit score and changes to your credit report.
You can also go to www.annualcreditreport.com.
You must purchase your score from Transunion, Equifax, and Experian.
Credit card companies Discover and Capital One offer cards with the ability to receive a free credit score each month from FICO.
"Discover, for instance, lets its customers see their FICO score on its
website and credit statement. (A FICO score is a brand of credit score
developed by Fair Isaac Corp.) In Discover's case, the score is derived from a customer's TransUnion credit report.
Quizzle.com comes up with its score based on a customer's Equifax report, CreditSesame.com uses Experian and
CreditKarma.com uses both Equifax and TransUnion."
These different companies give you a chance to see all of your credit scores from the three leading credit reporting
agencies.
So let's start out the new year knowing where your credit score stands.
Will you get your free credit score???
